Hirsh’s priority is helping patients feel comfortable with themselves. "When people come into the space, I really want them to feel like they’re coming into a friend’s home," Hirsh said. "If they’re feeling very vulnerable, I can cry with them.

The building features state-of-the-art imaging technology, efficiently centralized care and a bright, beautiful space designed to make patients feel comfortable and enable them to focus on healing. "The building really symbolizes Cedars-Sinai’s commitment to the patient with breast cancer," said Armando Giuliano, MD, the Linda and Jim Lippman Chair in Surgical Oncology and chief of Surgical Oncology.
