With deliveries of the Ford Maverick now underway, aftermarket tuners have wasted no time customizing the new compact pickup. Ford hasn't announced plans to build a high-performance Raptor version, but the Maverick is designed to be easy to customize by aftermarket tuners.
At the SEMA show earlier this month, New York's Tucci Hot Rods presented the Tucci Maverick, a custom truck kitted out with an assortment of aftermarket accessories. The response at the show was positive so positive that Tucci's two-man team wants to put the stunning Maverick street rod into production. Ford Ford Ford Ford According to Fox News, Tucci Hot Rods is "talking to partners and exploring options" to sell the custom Maverick as a full build next year.

If you already own a Maverick, separate parts will also be available to buy if everything goes according to plan, allowing owners to recreate the custom Maverick shown at SEMA. Based on the XLT trim, the Maverick street rod features muscular flared fenders combined with a front lip spoiler and a rally-inspired spoiler. All parts are 3D-printed and give the Maverick a more aggressive appearance than the stock version.

Like the regular Maverick XLT, power is sourced from a 2.0-liter EcoBoost power producing 250 horsepower, with power sent through Ford's optional four-wheel-drive system. Pricing details haven't been announced, but the heavily modified truck will be sold at a price "commensurate with the entry-level nature of Maverick".
