%Start Mega Yarn Yoshi amiibo Stampedes onto Shelves this November Nintendo Life Your fabric-based Godzilla fantasies realised by Share: The Yarn Yoshi amiibo triplicate was a great move by Nintendo - it brought the idea of toys-to-life into actual toys that aren't glorified statuettes. Three clearly wasn't enough though, as now we can expect a giant variation of these adorable critters to arrive in North America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand in November. The amiibo has identical functionality in to its standard-sized cohorts, spawning a second Yoshi to be controlled in tandem to your main dinosaur pal.

The amiibo chip is contained in this one's foot rather than its base, and it stands at roughly two and a half to three times the height of the previous three. This giant lizard doesn't come that cheap, and at a $39.99 RRP this is hopefully a quality product, or it simply may be too much to spend for some considering it adds nothing the smaller variants don't.

The Mega Yarn Yoshi amiibo will be available on 15th November in North America, 27th November in Europe, and 28th November in Australia and New Zealand. I've got the other 3, but will likely get this as long as the European prices aren't too extortionate. It looks so cute I WANT ONE MINE (I presume this'll be available on the UK Store too. Hopefully.) I'm sure some people are already accustomed to paying $40 for an Amiibo.

When I saw the photo I thought this would give us a huge Yoshi in game. How does it not? $40 seems about right, it's a huge Yoshi and Nitneod knows people will easily pay $50 for it on eBay, might as well make some of that money themselves.

They won't ever produce enough were they worry about it not selling out day 1 at that price. This comes out on a Sunday in mid-November in the US, they are likely expecting it to sell out that morning to Christmas shoppers. YOSHIZILLA!

I don't need it... I am so getting one, maybe as a Christmas present for my 4 year old Yoshi loving son. But my 5 and 9 year olds as well as the wife & I really like Yoshi too, and the kids already have a normal Yarn Yoshi each, plus we have a regular Yoshi Amiibo and will soon have a Suoer Mario series Yoshi.
I won't even have that many Marios as I didn't care for gold or silver Marios.

I can only assume that they'll launch on the date of the game's release in October, but did they ever officially say that, or can you pre-order it anywhere yet? I've only seen the Yoshi's Woolly World game listed so far on the normal sites.

cool! look like there is more yoshi amiibo than the other mario character amiibo(edit: there will be six yoshi amiibo but it cannot beat the mario amiibo collection (7) and 2 other mario charaters)

I was only planing to get the blue Yoshi with the October release, but now I'm having that go big or go home mentality with this big beauty. I want it but can't justify spending a fortune on it. Sorry Nintendo I'd rather have a new game instead but that's just me.

If I ever see it cheap, as in regular amiibo price, I might think about grabbing it but no way am I paying the price of an actual game for it...especially when I have the smaller one anyway. but you can hug it I do admit this should've been released with the other Yarn amiibo. Pass.

I would imagine that when you scan the girlfriend amiibo, your game turns into one of those weird Japanese dating sim games. I think I'd opt for an actual girlfriend instead. I bought a Koopa Shell from Nintendo World and that was about $35 so this price is about standard for big plushies.

I hope they make more Yoshi woolly amiimo's they are so hard to find the Blue & Pink amiibo's ... scalpers are selling them for well over £30 on different sites thats $50 or so.
