RELATED - The past two Pokémon movies have reflected a change in direction for the series, with the previous films only existing to show off the latest Legendary Pokémon. The fact that the new movies are more focused on telling a strong story can only be an improvement upon Ash stumbling across another incredibly powerful Pokémon that he never bothers to catch.
