% Video: Shovel Knight Is Digging Up The Tarmac In Road Redemption Nintendo Life "We're still working hard on porting to Mac, Linux, Wii U and others" by Share: Bike combat game is getting an unexpected but totally welcome scoop of action. Developer DarkSeas Games has just released an update to the PC version that allows you to step into the iconic blue armour of the garden tool-welding hero and hop onto a custom coloured chopper. DarkSeas Games has also confirmed that more updates are on the way to make the game even better — the previous footage we saw looked a little , but hopefully by the time it arrives on the Wii U eShop, it will play like a dream.

Performance is probably 1000% better than when we launched, load times are 50% faster, and it's generally more fun. We added a bike and character selection last week that we think is a pretty cool addition. We're still working hard on porting to Mac, Linux, Wii U and others.

We're also doing a lot of online multiplayer testing. Making a game where players move hundreds of miles per hour AND that focuses on melee combat is pretty much the perfect storm of what you DON'T want when programming for latency. Nevertheless, it's our goal to make sure online play is smooth and input-delay free.

Shovel Knight as a playable character will be a fun little bonus. Nice idea, gotta say! In a wacky-crazy game like Road Redemption, the Shovel Knight cameo doesn't even look that much out of place!

I don't think this video looks all that rough, in fact looks great for an indie title without millions of dollars from a publisher behind it..... But more importantly, it looks like a blast to play. You and me both.

If anyone at Nintendo happens to be reading this: take credit for it all you want, just make it happen! And Project Zero 5 for Europe / Fatal Frame 5 for NA. So the indie-stry (sorry for the pun) has a tendency for titles to do cross-cameos.

The game looks good I hope it comes to wiiu soon AMD with online multiplayer - "Minecraft sells for $2 billion yet Road Rash is covered in cobwebs O_o" What does that have to do with anything? I loved Road Rash back in the day, and I have no interest in Minecraft.

Some of these bitter lines of thinking are baffling. Call of Duty and Pokemon are pretty much the biggest gaming franchises right now...so nobody better dare make a Super Monkey Ball style game!
