Originally, the famous endurance race was scheduled to take place in June this year but has been postponed until September 19, 2020 due to the pandemic crisis.<br> New regulations mean manufacturers can build racing prototypes that closely resemble existing road-going hypercars. Toyota and Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus have already confirmed they will compete in the new Hypercar Class, while Aston Martin has delayed plans to enter a racing version of the Valkyrie hypercar.

Toyota Toyota Toyota Toyota previewed its new Le Mans hypercar racer with the Gazoo Racing GR Super Sport Concept at the 2018 Tokyo Auto Salon. Now, sources have informed The Supercar Blog that Toyota is planning to develop a road-going version of the GR Super Sport Concept. Racing regulations require manufacturers to build at least 20 homologated road-legal versions of their Hypercar Class race cars within two years.
