So it may seem hard to believe that there are customers out there who wouldn&#39;t be satisfied with the choices offered straight from the factory. But there&#39;s evidently at least one such wealthy individual out there, who has commissioned Carlex Design to completely refit the cockpit of their McLaren 720S. The client opted for a burgundy interior treatment, which Carlex worked up in a mixture of leather and Alcantara.

The upholstery looks to have been beautifully stitched, with laser-perforated trim, and the carbon-fiber pack specified from the factory (for both the cabin and bodywork) retained. Carlex also fitted decals on the outside that draw their inspiration from the winged emblem that the Polish cavalry used in the 16th-18th centuries.

That in and of itself tells us that this commission probably came from within the same country of Poland where Carlex is based. All told, the conversion took three weeks to perform. Fortunately the 720S has the power and capacity to make up for lost time now that it&#39;s out on the open road in the customer&#39;s hands.
