The 3DS doesn't have that same problem. It was relatively easy to come up with our list of ten 'main' games, all of which are retail titles, and the majority of entries were nowhere to be seen on our list from , showing that the portable has had a steady flow of announcements in recent months. There are two games that will be available in the poll but were left out of the list, meanwhile, because they're arriving in one region long after landing elsewhere in the West - these are as follows.

(PAL) - 20th May (PAL) - 29th April As always you'll be able to vote for your favourites in a poll at the end, so without further ado let's list some of the biggest games (with honourable mentions) coming to 3DS in 2016. In some cases we've added affiliate links for Amazon pre-orders.

Announced in February, we're expecting the veil to be lifted a little in Japanese media in May, and until then fans only have a few snippets of concept art to go on. It seems it may be a new generation, though vague wording means we're waiting for some definitive confirmation, and .

This is a title that wasn't exactly warmly welcomed following its E3 2015 reveal, yet it is the latest project from Next Level Games, a studio that's done terrific work with Nintendo's franchises and most recently brought us . The art style and the idea that the next Metroid Prime will be a co-op portable shooter starring chibi-style Federation Force troopers is hardly what fans had in mind, but this could actually be a good game at its core. Time will tell, and we're keen to give it a chance.

Only announced in the early March Nintendo Direct, this continues the visual style and core gameplay from . It does offer some new innovations, however, with amiibo support that unlocks Copy Abilities, and the fact that Kirby can use his foe's own mechs against them which looks like a lot of fun.

Minigames in the form of Team Kirby Clash and Kirby 3D Rumble will also boost its content. The localised name for , this is a significant and ambitious entry for the series as it plays up to nostalgia with re-imagined past-generation villages and monsters, but also delivers a lot of new content.

A fan campaign was credited with helping to make it happen, and Aksys Games has delivered on its promise of a quick localisation to the West; . It'll include Disney's biggest cartoon brands, including the likes of Mickey Mouse and Frozen, and will be hard to resist for keen artists with a love for the company. This remake / port has been long in demand by Western audiences, and so Square Enix delighted many when teaming up with Nintendo to make it a reality.

StreetPass will feature and a to make the title more welcoming ahead of its previous release in Japan, including the removal of random encounters. Arriving later in the year, like its predecessor this remake of a PS2 classic will include some new features, which include a new scenario, dungeons and party members. In general there appears to be plenty of fresh content to enjoy, and like VII it'll not include random encounters.

Cute visuals, addictive music and rhythm gameplay are a nice combination, and should work beautifully in this release. Perhaps a slightly controversial inclusion in the main list due to the fact that its localised version is only confirmed for North America so far, we nevertheless felt it deserved better than the Honourable Mentions list. Originally called Shin Megami Tensei IV: Final in Japan, this ties into events from , though you don't necessarily have to play that one first; it has a plot and characters that partially overlap.

For fans of the series it also offers a few twists to the gameplay formula, so it'll be high on some wishlists this Summer. Honourable Mentions (North America) (North America) Naturally there are some other promising eShop releases on the way, too, and we've left out some exciting games that are coming to Japan this year but seem unlikely to be localised before 2017 - and Ace Attorney 6 are included in that thinking.

Now there's a bit of info about the Dragon Quest games that I didn't hear about, the removal of random encounters! Personally I think that unless it's Bravely Default I find that type of rpg gameplay a little too old school for me, and seeing as this will likely bring it more into line with Dragon Quest 9, I couldn't be happier! Guranteed picking up both of them now, maybe day 1 if they have good preorder bonuses like the slime plushie I received for Dragon Quest VI!

Disney Art Academy is all I'm buying from that list. Remember a few months ago when Nintendo blew smoke up our butts by saying they were going to focus on the female and youth demographics, and release casual games on the 3ds?!

It would be a miracle if we ever get Disney Magical World 2 or Style Savvy 3 in North America, let alone any other good games. I really want to vote for Fire Emblem (again), but I already own the game. That said, to me MHGenerations, Pokémon and Shin Megam Tensei IV Final.

Paper Mario is a huge maybe, I'll wait for reviews before I decide. The 3DS at least has some worthwhile variety, but it is completely evident that the era is coming to an end. Still, the 3DS had a great run.

The 3DS has a really solid library and some retro goodies. You can have fun with Mario Kart 7 and enjoy wonderful Fire Emblem, brilliant Monster Hunter, and charming Luigi's Mansion. You have two of the best Zelda games remastered and can investigate on Phoenix Wright adventures.

Just pointing out that the Amazon UK link for zero time dilemma is an import fore the America version, which won't work on PAL 3DS systems. Amazon has been doping this for awhile recently (I guess as it had some demand) Which is nice as I'll be able to get the vita version boxed!

I would rather experience the game with visuals and voice acting intact and increased internal resolution than settle for a muggy port missing some key features that quite frankly 'made' the original. I would have picked it...but I only had 3 choices!

The only game that I'm definitely getting day one is Federation Force though. I have to see what that game is all about. I'm already a fan of the background story surrounding the force with Project Golem and I don't think I'll be disappointed with a Metroid setting called the Bermuda System either.

I deliberately avoided going back to the PS2 version just so I could play on 3DS. And everytime I see Federation Force, I still get annoyed we're not just getting a Prime game on 3DS. Which would've really been the perfect sendoff for the console.

I own the original game for PS2 but having it with the rest of the Dragon Quest games on the DS/3DS is still worth getting for me. Fire Emblem Fates is still meh, the only thing that can salvage that game for me is if the localisation for Europe is NOT as rubbish is at is for NA, if it's as bad as the NA localisation then I'll pass on FE: Fates. Pokemon and Kirby for me.

Brazilians, Argentinians, Chileans, do not associate themselves as latinos, as Chile for instance has a very high immigration of Balkan country Europeans, Brazil have a lot of Germans as well (south of Brazil), and the largest Japanese population out of Japan (Sao Paulo). Argentinians are a mix of French and Spanish, so they can't be 100% latinos. Bolivians, Peruvians etc have a lot of indigenous in them so they can't be either, so latinos in the modern world are mostly central Americans and in the surrounding Caribbean islands, but the real wording of latinos include especially, Mediterranean European states...

they just do not like to be called latinos, but they know that they are just that Well, Spaniards and Italians are mostly white people, while most of South America people are not, so that's the reason why they don't want to be called the same, because they are not, they're Europeans and white, after all. There is a bit of a mix because of the immigration but that applies to all regions, anyway. Leave A Comment Hold on there, you need to to post a comment...
