She's a 'model' because there are so many morbidly obese people in the US and they need to sell sh*t to them and those people are not going to buy a shirt or dress from someone who is a lot thinner. There's a market for every body type out there and yes 65% of US citizens are overweight and 38% of that are obese. Yet here we are today, socially accepting that we should prevent people from smoking and overconsumption of alcohol and frowning upon the past when it was the norm to not only accept, but actively introduce kids to tobacco and alcohol. I hope one day, we can also look back in disbelieve about how in 2022 society dictated we should embrace obesity instead of fighting against it with every possible tool we have.

My friend, whoose weight is around 48kg, but after 3 kids right after another she gained bigger butt, breasts and of course a skin on belly. So, she transformed to nr. 40 in no efforts of overeating.

Almost all of them are a little further than just carrying a bit of extra weight.

I want them to feel beautiful, but it's not that anything over 40 is considered plus size. Where I live, we don't really have 'plus size' categories, we just have larger sizes, at best we have a 'tall' category or a 'petite' one. Not everyone can help needing a bigger size, but the vast majority of obesity comes from an unhealthy diet.

If you're not her audience don't buy from her don't follow her but sure as s**t don't comment on an obese persons weight that you do not know in a doctors office if you are not her doctor. Yet here we are today, socially accepting that we should prevent people from smoking and overconsumption of alcohol and frowning upon the past when it was the norm to not only accept, but actively introduce kids to tobacco and alcohol.

You want to show that people come in all shapes and sizes. However, I kind of do agree with you that there's a big gap between being plus size and being extremely overweight. I want everyone to feel that they belong as much as the next person but I don't want obesity to be seen as something that doesn't matter.

Where I live, we don't really have 'plus size' categories, we just have larger sizes, at best we have a 'tall' category or a 'petite' one.
