Lance only started two games in his rookie season when Garoppolo was hurt, and when he took over as the full-time starter this year, he struggled before suffering a serious ankle injury Week 2 that ended his season. 1 overall pick in the NFL draft. With the potential to add a rookie quarterback next season, it looks like Carolina would like Moore to help lead the rebuild instead of using him to add even more picks.
