His clinical areas of focus include: Minimally invasive and robotic assisted surgery Genitourinary oncology including rhabdomyosarcoma, testicular cancer, Wilm's tumor, and pediatric kidney tumors Expertise in management of complex urologic reconstructive surgery including bladder exstrophy, cloacal exstrophy, cloaca and neurogenic bladder Complex coordination of care and diagnosis of unresolved pediatric urologic illness General pediatric urology conditions including hypospadias, vesicoureteral reflux, hydronephrosis, undescended testicle, hernia/hydrocele, circumcision In addition to his clinical activities, Dr. Gargollo is active in research and education, providing mentorship to residents and fellows. He is the principal investigator for multiple pediatric urology research trials.
