We experienced the tranquility spa break, which includes a one night stay, 50-minute treatment, two-course dinner in The Oak House restaurant, breakfast in the morning and full use of the spa facilities and on-site gym (including classes) throughout your stay. The rooms are suitably plush with luxe touches such as a rainfall shower and Elemis toiletries in the bathroom, a comfy lounge area where sliding doors look out onto your own private decking area (which leads to the private hot tub for spa break guests only) and of course, a lovely plump bed to sink into after a long day of some serious relaxing.

The studio suites offer a perfectly lovely respite, but if you were looking for something extra special there’s also the deluxe suites and master suites, the latter of which is complete with a four-poster bed, 5* Puffy mattress and freestanding bathtub. Onto the facilities though, as there’s a lot to get through.

Most of the spa packages include a two-course lunch or dinner – if you’d like a recommendation, we thoroughly enjoyed the mushroom tarragon arancini with hazelnut pesto and parmesan shards followed by the chicken supreme with chorizo, sweet potato fondant, Catalan spinach and black garlic jus.
