Apple's security is very difficult to defeat. While there have been some very limited instances of hackers getting around the security, that requires very expensive and very sophisticated devices. Don't waste your money.

If you don't have a computer, you can use Apple's Find My service (which is usually used to find lost devices) to unlock your iPhone by erasing it. This assumes you've already set up Find My, of course. If you have, follow these steps: On any device that's connected to the internet, open a web browser and go to iCloud.com.
