How to get the Sickle Grass and Bloom Sickle Pokémon. Guide by Lottie Lynn Guides Editor Updated on 22 Mar 2022 Fomantis and Lurantis, its evolution, are two Gen 7 Pokémon which debuted in Pokémon Go during the Season of Alola. Both Pokémon were released as part of the Lush Jungle event in March 2022 and, if you want to get a Lurantis, you must meet a special evolution requirement.

An Akala Adventure special research quest - Complete Step 1 Thanks to the methods listed above, you're guaranteed to catch at least one Fomantis in Pokémon Go by completing Step 1 of An Akala Adventure. When it comes to catching Fomantis during the Lush Jungle event, we recommend searching for them in the wild due to their spawn rate being increased.

Keep an eye on your Pokémon radar, so you know when a Fomantis is nearby! At the time of writing, we don't know what Fomantis' spawn rate will be once the Lush Jungle event ends, but there's a chance, like most of the recently released Pokémon, it will be quite well. If you want to catch Fomantis by completing the Lush Jungle field research task, it's important to remember that the tasks offered by PokéStops change on a day-to-day basis, which can make it hard to find the task.

For this method, we recommend finding a Pokémon Go group for your local area, because someone else might have already found the right PokéStop. Currently live is the Evolving Stars event, which includes the release of quest steps 5 to 8 of A Cosmic Companion - the Season of Light special research quest. Elsewhere, be sure to use Daily Adventure Incense for the chance of encountering Galarian Articuno, Galarian Zapdos and Galarian Moltres.

This means if it's daytime in your current reality, then it will also be daytime in Pokémon Go. A little tick mark will also appear next to the sun symbol on Fomantis' evolution button to inform you it's possible to evolve it into Lurantis. This evolution method is similar to how Yungoos evolves into Gumshoos and Rockruff evolves into either its Midday or Midnight form.

It's also a lot easier than evolving Eevee into either Umbreon or Espeon thanks to the lack of buddy and walking requirements. Good luck adding Fomantis and Lurantis to your Pokédex!
