Texas-based tuner Hennessey decided to step up and build its own version of the Ranger called the VelociRaptor, which is now the most powerful Ranger money can buy. The VelociRaptor Ranger was supposed to produce 350 horsepower and 385 lb-ft from its tuned 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder but the final product ended up being a bit more powerful than initially anticipated.

That&#39;s a whole lot more than the stock truck&#39;s 270 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque. With all of that added power, the VelociRaptor Ranger can hit 60 mph in just 4.9 seconds.

Hennessey initially predicted a 6.1-second 0-60 time for its VelociRaptor Ranger, so this 4.9-second time is a massive improvement. But don&#39;t just take our word for it. Hennessey loves to show off the performance potential of its vehicles so it staged a drag race between the new VelociRaptor Ranger and a stock Raptor. The baby Raptor makes short work of the big Raptor, so if you only care about straight line speed, the choice is easy.
