Last month after all the rumours and speculation, the GTA Remastered Trilogy was officially confirmed by Rockstar Games. We also learned that the collection will have the tongue-twisting title of ‘Grand Theft Auto: The Definitive Edition – The Trilogy.’ Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive EditionComing November 11 for PS5, Xbox Series XS, Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and the Rockstar Games Launcher.

That was until now and it’s perhaps not as bad as you might think. Firstly, the revealed file sizes are for the PlayStation 4. Though I would imagine that the file sizes will be around the same ballpark for each of the respective platforms.

Credit: Rockstar Games The file sizes were revealed by the Twitter account called PlayStation Game Size. The Twitter account also included the PS2 file sizes, so that we can compare them to the modern PS4.

So how much hard drive space with the GTA remasters take up GTA 3 is 5.293GB (PS4) compared to 1.569GB (PS2)Vice City is 10.768GB (PS4) compared to 2.392 (PS2)San Andreas is 22.679GB (PS4) compared to 3.320GB (PS4) ?
