A former Keller police officer pleaded guilty Thursday to a misdemeanor forhis role in the August 2020 arrestof a man who was filming his son being stopped by police.Blake Shimanek’s sentence for the charge of official oppression will depend on whether he completes a diversion program, according to the Tarrant County district attorney’s office.
