Ford has officially confirmed that its upcoming all-new EV, the Ford Mustang Mach-E, will have over-the-air updates, enabling owners to regularly improve the SUV throughout its lifetime without having to leave their homes. What&#39;s also cool is that Ford has developed a new way to allow secure updates to download in the background without the owner even noticing. In addition, these updates will require as little as two minutes to complete, and in some cases even less.

The Mustang Mach-E has proven itself to be very popular even before hitting the road. As of early last month, over 50,000 reservations had been placed and counting. It&#39;s entirely possible 2020 model year allocation has been sold out, though Ford has yet to officially confirm this.
