Black Ops 3 contains the best Zombies component and exosuit multiplayer that the franchise has seen. The plethora of game modes and customization options made it a favorite amongst Black Ops fans. Unfortunately, the game had a less than stellar campaign that relied on an overly convoluted means of storytelling.

The true issue with Black Ops 3 was its microtransactions. in the same archetype were locked behind paywalls or massive amounts of grinding.

Unfortunately for Call of Duty 3, gamers were fatigued with the setting when the game released. Compared to other CoD titles, the third numbered entry delivers much of the same gameplay as the first two titles but with better graphics. Snappy gunplay and engaging setpieces made for a great introduction to the series for newer Call of Duty players.

Multiplayer made its return and was the best rendition yet. Up to 24 players could duke it against each other using a that the series has since abandoned. It isn't without faults, but Call of Duty 3 is a solid game considering its 8 month development period.

Call of Duty Black Ops 2 83 5 1
Many fans of the Call of Duty franchise will either choose or Black Ops 2 as their favorite and with good reason. Modern Warfare 2 might be the most chaotic CoD ever developed, but Black Ops 2 is easily the most balanced and diverse Call of Duty ever.

If it wasn't for the lackluster Zombies maps with Victis/Tranzit crew, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 might have been rated much higher by critics on release. Still, fans widely regard this as the best title Treyarch has ever made.

The odds were stacked against Treyarch, yet they proved that the setting still had some gas left in the tank. Split between the Pacific Theater and Eastern Front, players got to experience the war from the perspective of American and Soviet soldiers. Multiplayer was received with less praise than CoD 4's offering, but its inclusion of vehicles and larger maps made for a unique experience that stood on its own.
