Don' t panic but planet Earth is in the danger zone

New research published in the journal Science suggests that climate change, biodiversity loss, changes in land use, and altered biogeochemical cycles (partly from fertiliser use) have fundamentally changed how the planet functions.

Speaking to the foundation, Johan Rockstrom, one of the study&#39;s authors from Stockholm University, explained that humanity is at a point where it may start to see &quot;abrupt and irreversible changes due to climate change&quot;. For the first time in human history, we need to relate to the risk of destabilising the entire planet.
