A livestream is being held on September 24 to announce the next addition to the roster in Dissidia Final Fantasy and Dissidia Final Fantasy NT. To date, the Dissidia games have added Locke Cole from Final Fantasy VI, Tifa Lockhart from Final Fantasy VII, Rinoa Heartilly from Final Fantasy VIII, Yuna from Final Fantasy X, Kam'lanaut from Final Fantasy XI, Vayne Solidor from Final Fantasy XII, Snow from Final Fantasy XIII, and Zenos from Final Fantasy XIV. Square Enix will announce the character on a YouTube livestream that is currently active with a countdown. The list of upcoming DLC characters had previously been datamined by fans and the only names on the list that have yet to be added to the game are Zack from Final Fantasy VII and Vivi from Final Fantasy IX. It's also possible that a new character could be added, as Zenos wasn't on the original datamine list. Square Enix might have added some names in response to fan feedback.

It feels as if Vivi is the more likely candidate for the reveal, as the most recent DLC character to be added to the game was Tifa Lockhart from Final Fantasy VII. It's unlikely that Square Enix would announce two Final Fantasy VII characters back to back, despite the popularity of the game. Vivi has been a popular fan request for a long time; couple that with the fact that he would be filling the Black Mage role that's been sorely missing on the Dissidia roster, and he seems to be the most likely candidate.
