Final results of Subdivision 1:
Final scores Jersey's Bonita coming in at third, followed by the three Indian's Pranati Das, Aruna Budda Reddy & Pranati Nayak at 4th, 5th and 6th positions respectively. The two South Africans have topped the Subdivision 1 The three Indians failed to register good scores in Uneven bars otherwise one of them would certainly have headed for a podium finish.

The South African Naveen Daries replaces Bonita in the second place. Her total score stands at 45.350 Gymnast from Jersey, Bonita Shurmer moves into second place with a score of 10.400 in Floor exercise and a total score of 44.150 The happiness is short lived for Indians as Claudia registers a score of 11.150 taking her back to the top after the fourth rotation. Her cumulative score is 46.025 The Indian Pranati takes the lead in the group.

Aruna with a score of 10.350 and Pranati close behind with a score of 10.250 Naveen Daries & Claudia Cummins, the two South Africans have been sublime and are the leaders.
Aruna Reddy is the leader for India presently (and 3rd overall) at the end of 3 rotations with a score of 33.150 The Indian trio will now perform in the Floor Exercise The fourth and final rotation will witness India and South Africa performing the floor exercise.

There's no stopping the South African gymnasts today who's campaign has been mixed with flair and composition.
Naveen Daries puts in a vital 10.400 effort on the balance beam while Claudia Cummins finishes the rotation with a 9.700 showing through her effort. Jersey's Rachel Flambard completes her graceful routine in the floor exercise to pick 11.100 points. Pranati Das is next in line and she equals Aruna's score of 10.15 while Pranati Nayak stumbles slightly to pick 9.400. Aruna Budda Reddy is the first gymnast on the balance beam in the third rotation and she continues her good run, picks up 10.150 points. Sri Lanka's Ridma Bengalage commences the rotation with a 9.650 attempt at the floor exercise. Now we move to the third rotation.
India and South Africa will have a go at the balance beam.

Claudia Cummins and Naveen Daries send in the best performances of the rotation to pick 11.775 and 11.700 points from the uneven bars round respectively. Jersey's Rachel Flambard shows how its done on the balance beam with a 9.650 attempt. Pranati Das too joins the club with a strong effort to amass 9.750 from her attempt at the bars.
The Indian contingent looks to be having a field day at the competition, coming up with a good show so far that could hold them in contention for a team medal. Meanwhile,
Aruna Budda Reddy puts in an impressive show to credit 9.800 points against her tally. Her teammates Ridma Bengalage and Amaya Kalukottage outperform her to pick 8.700 and 8.450 respectively. Kaushini Gamage, the 18-year old Sri Lanka has a modest start to the second rotation with a 7.000 attempt on the Balance beam. A positive start for Pranati Nayak on the uneven bars, picks up 9.775 points on her first try. Moving on to the second rotation.
India and South Africa will try their hand at the uneven bars. Sri Lanka and Jersey have their first go at the Balance Beam. Meanwhile, Jersey's duo of Bonita Shurmer and Rachelle Flambard pick up 10.450 and 8.850 respectively to culminate the first rotation. Wow! That's some effort from Claudia Cummins.
The South African exhibits stunning grace and precision to nail the vault round in the first rotation, tops with a score of 13.4.

The first look at the South African gymnasts in action as Naveen Daries does well to collect 12.95 points from her first attempt on the vaults. A modest start for Sri Lanka as the pair of Ridma Bengalage and Amaya Kalukottage accumulate 8.250 and 6.700 points from their first attempt at the parallel bars. Pranati Das picks up 12.6 points with a clean attempt on her first try this competition. A solid start from Aruna Reddy as she gets into her element straight away with a strong attempt of 13.200 points on the vault.

India's trio of Pranati Das, Aruna Reddy and Pranati Nayak along with South Africa's duo of Naveen Daries and Claudia Cummins will start off with the vault first. The women's event, which will be held today will mean that Aruna Budda Reddy will be the cynosure of all eyes after ger bronze medal victory in the Gymnastics World Cup holding her in good stead ahead of the competition.
