Craig Kwiatkowski PharmD Prominent Information Technology Expert to Lead Efforts Throughout Cedars-Sinai Health System Following an extensive national search, Craig Kwiatkowski, PharmD, has been named senior vice president of Enterprise Information Services, and chief information officer at Cedars-Sinai. An experienced information technology professional, Kwiatkowski brings to the position more than 20 years of experience in academic medical centers.

“Craig’s knowledge and experience will serve us well as we continue to identify and deploy the latest developments in technology to optimize our patient care, education, research and community service mission,” said Thomas M. Priselac, president and CEO of Cedars-Sinai. “His leadership skills will assure the engagement of clinical, academic, operational and business expertise throughout the organization, which is essential to successful technology strategy and implementation.”
In this role, Kwiatkowski will provide technology leadership for Cedars-Sinai Health System, including Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Cedars-Sinai Medical Network, Cedars-Sinai Academic Enterprise, Cedars-Sinai Marina del Rey Hospital, as well as Huntington Hospital and Torrance Memorial Medical Center and their respective physician networks.
Kwiatkowski will lead Cedars-Sinai’s efforts to identify and deploy the latest developments in technology to optimize patient care, education, research, and community service. He also aims to focus on back-office systems modernization and technology platform consolidation that best supports Cedars-Sinai’s physicians and staff.

“I particularly look forward to continue advancing our capabilities in artificial intelligence, machine learning and predictive analytics,” Kwiatkowski said. “There are so many exciting things happening in these areas that offer opportunities to improve patient care.”
Since joining Cedars-Sinai Enterprise Information Systems in 2009, Kwiatkowski has led a wide variety of successful implementations of new information technology, including patient experience/access tools, medication management tools and clinical care/quality tools.
Most recently he has led the ongoing integration of Huntington Hospital, a Cedars-Sinai affiliate, into Cedars-Sinai’s enterprise-wide technology and application systems.

Prior to joining Cedars-Sinai, Kwiatkowski was at the University of Chicago Hospitals, where he served in operational and clinical leadership roles. He earned a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Chicago College of Pharmacy and began his academic medical center career as an inpatient pharmacist.
