Back in March, the 2020 New York International Auto was postponed due to the outbreak of the coronavirus. The show was set to be held in April but was pushed back until late August because the Jacob K Javits Convention Center was being used as a field hospital.

Since the NY Auto Show's postponement, the 2020 Detroit Auto Show in June and the Pebble Beach Concours d&#39;Elegance were flat-out canceled. Even though the Javits Center currently has no patients, the facility remains open as an active hospital in standby mode for the foreseeable future according to a press release from the organizers of the NYIAS. For this reason, the 2020 show has been canceled and the next show will take place from April 2 to April 11, 2021 with the press days occurring on March 31 and April 1.
