Problems include crackling or static sounds that increase in loud environments, with exercise, or talking on the phone, and Active Noise Cancellation occasionally acting up, causing loss of bass or an increase in the amount of background noise being heard. The program initially was introduced a year after the release of the AirPods Pro, around the same time the warranty on AirPods Pro purchased at launch would expire.
