The show, which is written and executive produced by Michael Jonathan Smith (Cobra Kai), stars Mackie as John Doe, an amnesiac who “talks as fast as he drives”, according to a statement by Peacock. Doe has to drive across a post-apocalyptic wasteland to deliver supplies to an outpost and will be aided by car thief Quiet (Beatriz), while being pursued by patrolman Agent Stone (Church). Peacock announced in February that it had picked up the PlayStation Productions show and given it a series order.
