While in Midgar, Cloud, Tifa, and Barrett have to press buttons at the exact same time in order to gain access to the next area. However, the player is the one controlling Cloud, and it does take some observing to match your movements with Tifa’s and Barrett’s. I can relate to this comic because I really struggled with this part of the game.

It got very annoying the first couple of times I did this because I just could not match up with the other characters. This does make me wonder if this is an aspect Square Enix will keep in the upcoming remake.

We know he won’t admit it, but he likes it. Now what’s funny about Cloud is that his blond, spiky hair does remind one of a Chocobo. But due to the Chocobo's appearance, the hat really does blend in with Cloud’s hairstyle.

Anyway, when the game first released, Aerith’s demise shocked a lot of people because it was so surprising and unexpected. Out of the whole cast, you wouldn’t think that the sweetest woman and the last living Cetra on the planet would be annihilated.

But much to Barrett’s dismay, Cloud ends up choosing Aerith as his date, leaving Tifa and Barrett to cry over this and rid themselves of their sorrows by eating ice cream. I still don’t understand how ice cream is a comfort food, but okay.

I’d honestly say this comic is pretty fitting for any fan. Anyone of any gender can appreciate Cloud Strife with his long, luscious blond locks and cute purple dress. Aerith was the one who helped Cloud get the dress, so I’m really curious to know if this story was one the party members told around the campfire.

Of course, things ended up not working out, Sephiroth became evil and Vincent became a science experiment that slept in a coffin for a very long time. That’s how Cloud discovers him. So at first, you might actually think that he is a vampire.

Cute In One Pic
via Fanpop This isn’t necessarily a comic, but it’s a cute fan art that I really wanted to share. In Advent Children, Kadaj, Loz, and Yazoo, are connected to Sephiroth and are looking for Jenova. And as we all know, Cloud spends a lot of time in the movie brooding over letting Aerith perish and feeling like he’s weak due to geostigma.

It’s pretty hilarious to see the silver-haired trio portrayed like this because they’re actually very aggressive in the whole film. The fan art itself does a good job of showing the characters’ personalities through minimal text, which is something I enjoy. After all, Kadaj just wants to be with “mother.” And poor Cloud just wants to brood.

This is a flashback to Nibelheim when Sephiroth loses his mind and goes crazy, destroying the entire town and eliminating civilians. Cloud’s mother ends up destroyed and Tifa’s father perishes at the hands of Sephiroth.

Tifa does pick up Sephiroth’s Masamune and threatens to end him, angry at the loss of her father. But this comic is funny because Sephy quotes Darth Vader and says that he is Tifa’s father, leaving Tifa very confused. But think about it.

Nothing can truly be perfect. However, some mistakes, even grammatical ones, can truly add to the experience. One of Aerith’s most well-know mistranslated lines comes from a scene where Aerith and Cloud approach a sickly male and she states, “This guy are sick.” This comic discusses the idea of keeping the goofy mistakes but seeing them in the fancy CG graphics.
