Hyundai has been hard at work getting ready for full-scale electrification and has invested billions toward the cause. Some exciting new products are coming, but until then, Hyundai has been keeping its existing models up to date.

One that was in need of a complete overhaul was the Hyundai Palisade, and back in April, Hyundai revealed the 2023 Palisade and announced that it would be expanding the range with a new XRT trim. This was good news, but very few details were provided on this new variant and none whatsoever were provided regarding pricing.

it's based on the SEL FWD trim but adds dark 20-inch wheels "with rugged styling," rugged lower bumpers and skid plate accents, and rugged lower door garnish. A dark grille finish and black roof side rails further enhance its appeal, while cross rails improve practicality.

Other highlights include body-colored door handles, a power sunroof, and black H-Tex leatherette upholstery for the seats. Under the skin, the HTRAC AWD system has been added, as signified by a corresponding badge on the tailgate. Downhill brake control, a snow mode, a tow mode, and an AWD lock are also added.

Fortunately, the Limited is only 910 bucks more expensive, as this had a significant price bump last year. The Calligraphy is now $1,860 more expensive, but while pricing for the 2023 Toyota Highlander is yet to be confirmed, it looks like Hyundai has once again managed to undercut the competition on price.
