First previewed by the concept version last April in New York, the production Aviator looks almost identical with its sleek exterior styling and luxurious interior with wonderful attention to detail throughout. But perhaps it&#39;s what can be had under the hood that&#39;s the most interesting. The three-row Aviator is the first Lincoln to be offered with a high-performance powertrain, specifically a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 connected to a hybrid setup.

Without the extra electrical juice, this engine alone produces an impressive 400 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque. But with the aid of batteries, these figures increase to 450 hp and 600 lb-ft in the Aviator Grand Touring trim. A 10-speed automatic is the sole transmission.
